Aalappura Heritage is a 150 year old farm house build by ……………… who is the great grandfather of present owner Mr. Gopinathan. Aalappura Heritage has been maintained by four generations, built by and then by his son GovindaMannadiar, his son SwaminathaMannadiar, who devoted almost entire his lifespan at this farmhouse doing farming and presently it is maintained by GopinathaMannadiar.

The Aalappura Heritage is surrounded by lush green paddy fields, coconut and cocoa plantations, a large pond with fish and many varieties of fruits / herbal trees and plants. Serene nature and healthy environment which surround Aalappura Heritage with almost zero pollution around it refreshes everyone who visit this place.

A morning or evening walk through the lush green paddy fields, seeing various traditional farming activities would make you learn the different stages of agriculture. A stroll through the coconut / cocoa plantations keenly observing the Neera tapping, which needs precise skill, would make you fascinated. The great collections of various farming equipment, ancient household tools and utensils would make you more knowledgeable after you spent time at this place.
